Jean left his home in La Pointe des Palmistes, Haiti to live in Miami at the age of 15. He attended Florida International University, where his passion for helping young people inspired him to earn a bachelor degree in secondary math education. He is married to his wife Rosenide and they are blessed with two children: Jayden and Jolen. Jean has been a member of this church since 1989 and is currently serving as the church treasurer where has worked diligently to balance the church budget by identifying and eliminating unnecessary or inefficient spending. He has earned the respect of the church leadership and congregation for his integrity, honesty, and diligence. His desire to make a difference in the lives of others, particularly needy children, led him to join Friends of Humanity For Haiti in bringing change and hope to some of the most vulnerable children in his native City of birth.
