At Emmanuel, we have experienced peace, comfort, and strength through prayer. We believe prayer matters, and we take seriously the call to stand before God on behalf of others. For us, praying for our church and our community is both a responsibility and a privilege.

The Prayer Ministry serves the church by:

  • Encouraging a life of personal and corporate prayer
  • Supporting the spiritual life of the congregation
  • Interceding for the needs of the church, families, and community
  • Teaching believers how to pray according to Scripture
  • Anchoring ministry decisions in prayer rather than impulse

Prayer is not a substitute for obedience or responsibility.
It is the posture from which obedience flows.

You do not have to be a member of our church to be prayed for. You also do not need to explain everything you are facing. In moments of need, we are committed to lifting you and your family before God with care, faithfulness, and compassion.
