Baptism
I am not ashamed of the Gospel
What Is Baptism?
Baptism is an outward declaration of an inward change. When you are baptized, you publicly identify with Jesus—His death, His burial, and His resurrection. Scripture shows baptism as the first step of obedience for anyone who decides to follow Christ (Acts 2:38; Romans 6:3–4).
It does not save you, earn God’s favor, or make you more spiritual. It’s a joyful, public step that shows:
- You have trusted Jesus for salvation.
- You now belong to Him.
- You are choosing to walk in a new life.
Why Baptism Matters
Jesus Himself was baptized, and He calls His followers to do the same. Baptism is how you say:
“Jesus changed my life, and I want the world to know.”
It’s a moment of celebration—a way for the church to stand with you, pray for you, and affirm your new life in Christ.
Who Should Be Baptized?
Anyone who has made a personal decision to follow Jesus.
If you have placed your faith in Christ, baptism is your next step.
Whether you’re newly saved or you’ve been a believer for years but never took this step, we’d love to help you move forward.

Common Questions About Baptism
No. Salvation comes by faith in Jesus alone. Baptism is your response of obedience and public commitment.
If you made a personal decision to follow Jesus later in life, we encourage you to be baptized as a believer—just as Scripture teaches.
We baptize children who can clearly explain their faith in Christ and understand the meaning of baptism. Parents and pastors walk through this process together.
You’re not alone—many people feel the same way. Our team will support you, guide you, and make sure you feel comfortable from start to finish.
We’ll help you prepare a short, simple version of your story. No pressure, no long speeches—just a few words about what Jesus has done in your life.
