A message from Dr. Jules
About Rev. Dr. Wadler Jules
Rev. Dr. Wadler Jules serves as Senior Pastor of Haitian Emmanuel Baptist Church in Miami, one of the most established Haitian Baptist congregations in South Florida. Installed as Senior Pastor in January 2022, he continues a legacy of faithful preaching while guiding the church toward intentional discipleship and mission engagement.
Born in Saint-Louis du Nord, Haiti, Pastor Jules came to faith in Christ at the age of twelve and was later baptized, beginning a lifelong commitment to ministry and biblical study. He immigrated to the United States in 1987 and became actively involved in church leadership in Miami.
He was ordained to the gospel ministry on November 16, 2003, at Haitian Emmanuel Baptist Church, the same congregation he now leads.

Pastor Jules combines pastoral experience with strong academic preparation:
- Bachelor of Arts in French — Florida International University
- Master of Theology (ThM) — Dallas Theological Seminary
- Doctor of Ministry (DMin), Expository Preaching — New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary
His doctoral focus in Expository Preaching reflects his conviction that Scripture must be explained clearly, faithfully, and contextually. His preaching ministry is rooted in careful biblical interpretation and practical application.
Ministry Experience
Before becoming Senior Pastor, Dr. Jules served more than fifteen years in various leadership roles within the church, including:
- Director of Christian Education
- Director of Missions
- Leadership training and discipleship development
- Adjunct Professor at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary
These roles shaped his passion for equipping believers and mentoring emerging leaders.
Leadership Emphasis
Under his leadership, the church prioritizes:
- Expository preaching — preaching through Scripture verse by verse with clarity and theological depth.
- Intentional discipleship — forming spiritually mature believers equipped to serve.
- Leadership development — training men and women for ministry impact.
- Mission engagement — serving the local community while maintaining strong global mission partnerships.
Dr. Jules believes the church must be both doctrinally sound and missionally active.
