One of the original founding members, Constance Nortelus has served Emmanuel Baptist Church in various capacities. She serves on the church’s committee board as a secretary for seven years. She established the inaugural children’s music ministry in 1992, serves as the director of Sunday School programming and has been an active member of the choir since 1973. An innovative entrepreneur by trade, she has spearheaded several initiatives for the advancement of the church, its members and the community it serves. She is married and has 4 daughters. Since 2001, her devotion and commitment as the Administrative Assistant continues to be inspired by one of her favorite scriptures: “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather in humility values others above yourselves not looking your own interests but each of you to the interest of others”. (Philippians 2:3-4, NLT).
